Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve Champagne

A lacy white mousse sits over a pale straw gold coloured base wine that’s threaded by a fine bead that shows good persistence. The nose is quite full and rich with a distinct honeyed character to it. Aromas of ripe pear, yeast lees and toast are overlaid by honeycomb like characters. The palate follows the lead of the nose with some oxidative characters present featuring flavours of oily baked bread, yeast lees, subtle dried honey and lingering cashew. Dry crisp finish with a sense of creaminess to the mid palate. Concludes with an aftertaste of oily baked bread, yeast lees, subtle dried honey characters and roasted nuts.
