NB Gin (700ml)

More and more of Scotland's distilleries are now producing gin. NB (short for 'North Berwick'), was launched in 2013. Made by husband and wife distillers, Vivienne and Steve Muir in batches of less than 100 litres, it quickly won admirers and was even voted the Best London Dry Gin in the world for 2015. Produced in a custom made still from grain spirit and eight botanicals including juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, grains of paradise, lemon peel, cassia bark, cardamom and orris root.

Tasting note: Clear. Highly aromatic with a piney juniper / citrus medley followed by earthy, root vegetable, coriander and a complex, medium dry, junipery profile that includes cardamom and white pepper; Finishes with menthol / citrus peel lingering in the aftertaste.
