N/V Vasse Felix Silver Knight Extra Brut

This wine is made in the traditional ‘Methode Champenoise’ from a blend of 49% Pinot Noir, 2% Pinot Meunier and 49% Chardonnay and spends two years ageing on yeast lees before disgorgement.

Good creamy white mousse with exceptionally fine bead and good persistence. Pale straw colour base wine. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of biscuit, yeast lees, cashew and toast. The palate displays citrus grapefruit, yeast lees and toast flavours. Clean crisp acidity with aftertaste of citrus, lees and toast.
Drink now or cellar 1-2 years (2009-2011)
