Cuvee 737 is sourced primarily from the 2009 vintage along with 30% Reserve wines. It’s a blend of 43% Chardonnay, 27% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier that’s sourced from Grands & Premier Cru vineyards located in the Grande Vallee de la Marne and the Cotes des Blancs. Excellent frothy mousse with a pale gold base wine colour and an exceptionally fine bead that shows excellent persistence. The nose delights with a classical Champagne sniff of baked bread and yeast lees over some cashew, light toast and almond. Refined palate flavours of baked bread, citrus and yeast lees are followed by some toast and light almond. Clean crisp and dry with a refreshing finish. Aftertaste of baked bread, yeast lees and lightly roasted almond. Disgorged July 2013.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
