The frothy white mousse has excellent staying power which once dissipated reveals a pale straw to pale gold base wine colour. Exceptionally fine bead with great persistence. Aromas of pear, baked apple and citrus are laced with yeast lees characters followed by a subtle toastiness. Fresh pear and baked apple characters are overlaid by yeast lees and toast. Finishes clean and crisp but lacks some complexity compared to many other non vintage Champagnes. Refreshing aftertaste of pears, baked apples, toast and yeast lees.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

An exquisitely delicate Champagne. Pale straw colour with very fine profuse bead and excellent mousse. The nose is quite subtle yet distinctive with notes of yeast lees and biscuit. The palate is a wonderful expression of elegance yet displays great persistence and depth of flavour. The yeast lees and toasted aged base wine flavours are meshed with subtle citrus and grapefruit flavour, followed by biscuit. Perfect acid balance, with exceptionally long aftertaste of yeast lees and biscuit.
