A national viticultural treasure and a masterpiece of winemaking and a tribute to time. This is a wine of incredible power, concentration and persistence. The base material for this wine was put aside in the1950's and matured in large old casks for over 40 years. It is the first time that this wine has been released since the original sourcing over 40 years ago. Prior to writing the tasting note, let us say, that only a very few people are going to be able to get their hands on this wine.

Rich, sienna brown colour with strong and very distinct green olive rim, indicating a wine of great age. Magnificent aroma, complex, filled with tertiary notes, yet still maintaining power. The nose is filled with complex toffee, drier raisins, honey treakle and molasses aromas. Rich, luscious mouthfeel with the viscosity of oil. A concentrate of honey, toffee, coffee, mocca and dried raisins meshed together with superfine soft velvet smooth spirit. Outstanding finish leaving a sensation of complete satisfaction even after a tiny 5ml sip. Powerful and extraordinary lingering aftertaste of toffee, honey, dried raisins and marmalade.A great taste experience - one of the unique wines of the world.
