A grappa made from the pomace of Vespaiolo and Friulano grapes, the same varieties used in Fausto Maculan's famous Torcolato dessert wine. Fruit is sourced from the cool climate Breganze hills in Veneto. Grapes are mildly botrytis affected and left to raisin on screens so as to concentrate the sugars. Poli distill in small lots, with steam pots in a discontinuous copper still. The grappa is rested for 6-12 months in stainless steel before bottling. They describe this as soft, refined and deep with exotic dried fruit flavours. 40% Alc./Vol.
