Tasting note: Pale straw gold appearance. The nose offers good intensity with cocoa and enticing pure honey opening sniffs; tempers down as the vanilla and barley comes through. The palate possesses good concentration though is slightly hot and disjointed. Spicy honey and cereal flavours mingle with traces of peat, adding depth. Finishes with good length and reasonable persistence. Always interesting to taste 'underage' bottlings from distilleries as prized as this. 40% Alc./Vol.
