Brilliant pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced aromas of crème brulee, ripe peaches and apricot intermix with lemon butter, bees wax, honeycomb, hints of butterscotch and spicy cashew. Texturally full and rich this is a big mouthfilling style of Chardonnay. Round and creamy the palate is loaded with generous ripe peach, apricot and honeycomb flavours which sit over elements of bees wax, butterscotch, spicy nougat and lingering dried nuts. Despite its viscosity it finishes with good freshness and a very long aftertaste.

Fruit was sourced from the Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo appellations with maturation taking place in oak barrels for 4 months. Bright pale straw colour with a slight glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Elevated peach and apricot aromas are complimented by notions of lemon butter and bees wax with some faint citrus and faint crème brulee notes also evident. Rich, highly textured ripe peach, apricot and honeycomb flavours have a generous creamy like feel yet the wine finishes with great freshness. Citrusy nougat characters, cashew and ginger spice appear on the back half. Excellent balance and a lengthy conclusion.

Rich, flavour packed and creamy yet remarkably fresh on the finish.

Bright straw colour with greenish highlights around the edges and a watery hue. Lofty white peach and honeycomb aromas stream out of the glass followed by light butterscotch, cashew and citrusy nougat notes. Boasting plenty of body weight, this rich creamy textured Chardonnay is amply endowed with ripe peach, honeycomb and butterscotch flavours over a back drop of biscuity cashew, citrusy nougat and spice characters. Finishes with excellent drive and remarkable freshness given that it’s a fuller style. A long moreish aftertaste completes a picture of exceptional value.

Sourced from 17 year old vines at the Marchiori vineyard, occupying a semi-desert climate at the foot of the Andes Mountains (3264 feet). Yields were a lowly 1.78 tons per acre and the wine spent 17 months in French oak, 48% of which was new and the balance second use.

    A powerful, richly textured Chardonnay

Brilliant straw colour with a touch of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense aromatics of ripe peaches, honeycomb and nougat arise from the glass followed by cashew, toasty oak and spice. Rich and full bodied the wine has a creamy viscous feel that coats the palate with flavours of honeycomb, ripe peaches, nougat, cashew, toasty oak and a lick of spicy butterscotch. Rich buttery texture with sufficient acidity to keep everything balanced. Long conclusion of honeycomb, butterscotch, nougat, cashew and spicy oak.

no mean feat for a $20 wine.

Californian winemaker, Paul Hobbs stands out from the pack, not only as a "quality fanatic", but as a trail blazer credited with proving the winemaking potential in Argentina. Rather than solely focusing on Malbec, he's also delivering some tremendous values in Cabernets and Chardonnay.

The 2015 Felino offers a rich, riper styled, yet fresh Chardonnay that has plenty of early drinking appeal.
Brilliant straw colour with a watery hue. Pronounced ripe peach and apricot aromas are laced with honeycomb followed by citrusy nougat and spice. Rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches, apricots and dried honey embellish the palate overlaying a back drop of citrusy nougat with a spicy finish. Despite the fullness and textural creaminess of the wine the finish is fresh and lively. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy peaches and apricots, dried honey and spicy nougat.
