Caorunn Small Batch Gin (700ml)

Cromdale, SCOTLAND
$89. 99
Bottle
$1079.88 Dozen
ABV: 41.8%

Made from five Celtic botanicals and Scottish spring water, Caorunn Gin (pronounced ‘ka-roon’) takes its name from the Rowan Berry - the botanical that forms the soul of the gin (unlike most gins which are juniper based). Other unusual botanicals include Coul Blush Apple, Heather, Bog Myrtle and Dandelion.

Other reviews… A Scottish gin, you say? From the Balmenach whisky distillery in Scotland’s Speyside region comes this crisp gin, with a light juniper and citrus scent and a surprisingly warm finish with a prickle of anise and alcohol. The distiller notes list a host of intriguing-sounding botanicals, including rowan berry, heather and Coul Blush apple, which unfortunately are undetectable. However, the clean, quinine-like feel suggests this would be a fine match for G&T lovers. 41.8% Alc./Vol.
