Blues Point is a bottle fermented sparkling wine made predominantly from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It is a soft and complex wine, finishing dry in the classic Brut tradition.

Great importance is placed upon the quality of fruit and the assemblage of base wines from diverse vineyard regions, together with the addition of aged ‘reserve wines’ to provide complexity and character, with each component wine contributing to the finished blend.All of the base wines underwent secondary fermentation in the bottle with a large component receiving extended maturation on its yeast lees.

Tasting Notes: Pale gold in colour with a fine persistent bead. The wine has a fresh and lifted bouquet with nutty, elegant Chardonnay fruit nuances and an underlying, soft, bready yeast complexity.Full bodied, soft and creamy, the palate is tightly structured with abundant fruit flavour on the middle palate. It has superb length of flavour and a crisp, yet soft finish with a lingering, lemony aftertaste. This well balanced wine combines the creaminess and rich fruit flavour of Chardonnay with the full structure and palate length which comes from Pinot Noir.
