Barokes Bin 121 - Wine in a Can Cabernet Shiraz Merlot (24 x 250ml)

The Barokes Selection consists of a range of wines bottled or should we say presented in 250ml zip top tins. One can only assume the idea is to take these tinnies on a train or picnic and sip away, just like a tinny of beer or coke. There is however one disadvantage of drinking directly from a tin and that is the nose is lost (since its impossible to smell and taste at the same time as one does with a glass). Like all new ideas, the market place will be the ultimate judge.

Crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Medium body. Aroma of plum (we poured our drink into a glass) and stewed fruit. The palate has good body weight with flavours of plum and stewed fruit evident. Soft tannins. Stewed fruit aftertaste. A commercial quaffer in a tin!
