Tasting note: [Batch 005 tasted] Made using Reaper chillies, this opens with aromas of orange pith, potpourri, white pepper and pine needles followed by curious suggestions of dried grass and matchbox, losing a little lift and definition after brief air contact. Not especially complex, the expansive, thick, oily flavour wave comes with a pronounced spike of chilli heat at the finish. The producers recommend it in a Negroni, but this could work in Bloody Marys too. 53% Alc./Vol.
