2020 Turkey Flat Vineyards Rose

Turkey Flat have been refining the style of their Rose over nearly 30 years, the 2020 version is as moreish as ever.
Made entirely from Grenache grapes. Translucent pink colour with a watery hue. Fragrant peach, raspberry and strawberry fruits blossom out of the glass trailed by a light whiff of musk and subtle wet stone notes. Silky in its feel the palate is decorated with delicious mixture of peach, raspberry and strawberry fruits with some musk and spice elements also present. Dry crisp finish with a long refreshing aftertaste.

Mark Bulman is a dead set genius when it comes to making rosé. I bought a case of this last year, and I’ll be doing the same this vintage. I drink more rosé than any other wine style.
A bit of smoky cap gun over white cherry, fresh strawberry, white pepper and aniseed. It’s pure and fresh, so bright and energetic, but not at all tangy or abrasive, fine chalky texture, and a very long cool finish. Flat out delicious. You could drink gallons of it, and I most likely will. Drink 2020-2027.
