2020 Pooley Gewurztraminer

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Exotic lychee, ripe pear and rose water scents leap out of the glass trailed by musk and subtle Turkish delight notes. Not quite as luscious and showing a touch more freshness than the 2019, the palate features an intense flavour profile of lychees, pear and musk over infusions of rose water and a subtle lick of ginger spice. Finishes off dry with vibrant underlying acidity and an elegant yet very long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
