2020 O'Leary Walker Oakbank Chardonnay

Barrel fermented in new French oak with full malo-latic fermentation and a further 6 months maturation in the same oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Top notes of ripe nectarine and peach drift from the glass followed by melon and spice notes. Light in weight and fresh, flavours of nectarine and melon overlay subtle cashew, nougat and spice. Finishes dry with a gentle cream tinged aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
