2019 Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in tight grain French oak puncheons of which, 20% were new, for a period of 11 months. Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Pronounced scents of dark cherry and anise mix with toasty oak, forest floor and spice. Delicious dark cherry and ripe strawberry fruits fill the mouth with great power, picking up accents of anise, lightly toasted oak, forest floor and spicy dried herbs along the way. Supple in its feel with velvety tannins and a nicely balanced freshness. Concludes savoury and long.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
