2019 William Fevre Petit Chablis

Founded by William Fevre in 1957 the domaine has grown to now become one of the biggest land owners in Chablis with 78 hectares of prestigious vineyards, of which 15.9 hectares are classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus. The Petit Chablis was matured in stainless steel vats for a period of 8-10 months to preserve freshness.
Bright pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tint to the edges and a watery hue. Pear and lime top notes meld into wet stone, light fresh herb and mineral scents. Delectable pear and lime fruits infused with fresh herbs overlay a stony back drop. Some chalky mineral characters lingering on the dry fresh finish. Well rounded, lengthy conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
