The second label of Mt Difficulty, the Roaring Meg Pinot Gris is made in a traditional rich, luscious, off dry style that packs plenty of intensity.
Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Elevated scents of ripe pear, honeysuckle and Jonathan apple flow out of the glass followed by hints of musk and spice. Luscious ripe pear and apple fruits have a honeysuckle overlay with elements of musk and a delicate spice in the background. Soft yet balanced acidity. Creamy like texture finishing off dry with a lick of residual sugar present. Long rich aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
Alc. 13%
