2019 Ravensworth Regional Murrumbateman Sangiovese

Fruit was sourced from seven vineyards to make this wine, located in 3 regions – Canberra, Hilltops and Gundagai. Bright dark red colour with subtle tinges of black around the rim and a light red hue. Delightful red cherry and red currant aromas gently infused with violets are trailed by hints of tobacco, earth and spicy fresh herb notes. Light to medium bodied but generously flavoured, delicious red cherry and ripe red currant fruits have a juicy feel over an earth, tobacco, dried herb and spice back drop. Excellent freshness and vitality with slightly dryish tannins and a long, savoury red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
