Cellar: Drink now - 4 Years (2021-2025)

2019 was an excellent vintage for whites on the Mornington Peninsula, with the wines displaying delicate fruit flavours, and fine natural acidity. For this wine the fruit was handpicked, whole bunch pressed and the unclarified juice barrel fermented. It was regularly stirred in barrel over its 9 months maturation to build palate weight and complexity.
Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey aromas are intermeshed with biscuity oak, nougat and spice. Medium bodied, rich peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours have a creamy textural feel. Elements of subtle biscuity oak, light cashew and spicy nougat sit in the back ground. Finishes with good freshness and a long well rounded aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Oak rears at first, but it quickly settles into fine drinking form. Stone fruit, custard apple and cream-caramel characters burst confidently through the palate and on through the finish. Drink by 2026.
