2019 Masso Antico Primitivo

For the third year running this wine has been rated a massive 99 points by Italian wine critic Luca Maroni. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Aromas of morello and dried cherries have a toasty oak overlay with some liquorice and spicy earth notes ensuing. Juicy morello cherry and dried cherry fruits overlay dried herbs, liquorice and toasty vanillin cedar elements. Soft finely grained tannins with a sweetish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
