2019 Leconfield Coonawarra Old Vines Riesling

Sourced from vines planted in 1974 this racy Coonawarra Riesling has both intensity of flavour and a laser like focus. Brilliant water like colour with a faint greenish tinge around the outskirts. Zesty lemon and lime juice aromas mix with granny smith apple, chalky talc and mineral notes. Possessing both intensity and racy acidity, flavours of lemon, lime and green apple show plenty of cut and focus. Finishes dry, austere and steely with an abundance of flinty mineral characters. Long crunchy aftertaste.
