Matured in French oak. Deep dark red colour with tinges of black around the edges and a light red hue. Fragrant violet led scents of dark cherries and ripe strawberries fill the nostrils trailed by subtle anise, forest floor and spicy dried herbs. Rich and supple in texture, dark cherry and strawberry fruits show plenty of fleshy appeal. Notions of anise, forest floor and spicy dried herbs are also apparent. Velvet smooth tannins with ample power to the aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13.2%

Other Reviews….
MV6 and 777 clones, matured for 10 months in used French barriques. The varietal expression is a crystal-clear blend of red and dark cherry/plum fruits, spice and gently savoury tannins providing complexity. Special value at this price. Drink by 2026.
