Domaine du Pegau Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is made from a blend of 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 10% Roussanne and 10% Bourboulenc. Aged in steel tanks, the production is close to 250 cases per year.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Fresh peach, apricot and pear fruits engulf the nostrils followed by notions of honeysuckle, light quince, traces of cinnamon and spice. Intense and vibrant in its feel, delightful pear, fresh apricot and white peach fruits possess a wonderful freshness. Subtle elements of honeysuckle, citrus and spicy quince sit underneath. Vibrant acidity carries the fresh fruits leading into a long, lively and richly fruited finish. Will build texture and put on weight with bottle age.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews....
Pegau's 2019 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Réservée is almost Burgundian in character, the way it balances upfront generosity with mouthwatering length. The flavors are different, offering hints of crushed stone, underripe pineapple, white peach and dried spices, then this medium to full-bodied wine adds vaguely chalky textural elements on the long finish. Silky and streamlined, it does a wonderful job of preserving freshness throughout.
