2019 Beechworth Wine Estates Pinot Gris

Beechworth Wine Estates was established in 2003 by John & Jo Iwanuch. The property comprises 53 acres located adjacent to the Everton to Beechworth Rail Trail.

Fermented in old oak and matured on lees for 6 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of pear and apple mix with dried honey, a hint of quince and spice. Rich pear and ripe apple flavours have plenty of textural appeal creating a sensation of fullness across the palate. Subtle dried honey, quince and baking spices the back drop. Finishes dry and fresh with a long spicy pear, ripe apple, dried honey and quince aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
