2019 Alpha Crucis Old Vine Grenache

Sourced primarily from 80 year old bush vines located in Blewitt Springs with a small addition of 30 year old vine material from Seaview. Deep dak red colour with black tinged edges and a bright purple red hue. Spicy dark raspberry and red plum fruits show good intensity out of the glass followed by some red liquorice, hints of earth and light pepper. Delicious bright raspberry and cherry fruits flood the mouth underpinned by vibrant acidity. Notions of liquorice and inky earth follow. Spicy finish with polished tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
