2018 Yarra Edge Pinot Noir

Twenty percent whole bunch inclusion, aged in French oak, 30% new, for 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light crimson red hue. Fragrant aromatics of dark cherries and strawberries tinged with violets are followed by traces of anise, forest floor and spice. Delicious ripe cherry and strawberry flavours are wrapped up in a supple feel with a touch of anise, subtle game and spicy cedar characters also present. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent power wave with a long savoury aftertaste.
