$359.88 Dozen
Cellar: 6 - 8 Years (2027-2029)

An excellent example of Mornington Peninsula Syrah, perfumed and peppery, it displays wonderful concentration and depth. Includes 10% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in French oak for a period of 11 months.
Black as night heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and dark plum scents meld into hints of clove, vanillin cedar, meaty characters and peppered earth notes. Medium to full bodied, rich plush flavours of blackberry, liquorice and dark plum are backed by fresh acidity and a sturdy tannin structure. Elements of vanillin cedar, clove, subtle earth and blackpepper make an appearance on the back half. Bright robust finish with a lingering pepper infused aftertaste.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
It takes a microsecond for the wine to establish this part of the Mornington Peninsula to deliver full-bodied shiraz that hasn't been over-extracted or otherwise forced to provide its layered purple and black fruits. The oak and tannin contributions have been calculated with the usual attention to detail. Drink by 2033.
