2018 Wittmann Riesling Trocken

One of Germany’s superstar producers. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Scents of lime and red apple intermingle with light honeysuckle, subtle toast and flinty slate like notes. Texturally rounded, zesty lime, crunchy apple and orange blossom flavours are to the fore with subtle honeysuckle, lemon and flinty mineral characters filling out the rear. Finishes dry with crisp refreshing acidity providing plenty of zip. Medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
