2018 Warrabilla Reserve Shiraz

Matured in a combination of A.P. John American and French puncheons, Andrew considers this to be his best Reserve Shiraz to date. Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady aromas of dark plum, liquorice and Morello cherry evolve from the glass with following vanillin cedar, meaty hints and spicy pepper notes. Rich and bold, the palate is flooded with boisterous dark plum, liquorice and ripe Morello cherry fruit which is underpinned by toasty vanillin oak, dried herb infusions and spicy pepper. Fresh youthful finish with polished tannins and a long moreish aftertaste.
