2018 Vagnoni Toscana Rosso

Certified organic this Tuscan blend is comprised of 70% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 5% Prugnolino, 5% Colorino and 5% indigenous grapes. Totally opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Ripe red currant and red cherry aromas intermix with fresh herb, earthy tobacco and spice notes. Medium to full bodied the palate has a generous flavour profile of ripe dark to black currants and red cherries which show both ample volume and intensity across the palate. Elements of fresh herbs, scorched earth and spicy tobacco sit underneath. Fresh acidity and sturdy tannins lead into a spicy aftertaste that’s both robust and richly fruited.
