2018 Tertini Riesling

Brilliant water like colour with a faint tinge of green to the outskirts. Intense lemon, lime and granny smith apple scents merge with wet steel and chalky talc like notes. Wonderfully pure and tense with razor sharp acidity backing the concentrated lime juice, lemon and green apple fruit. Sitting underneath is a core of wet steel and flinty mineral characters. Dry crunchy finish with a long focused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.

Text book stuff. Pale green. Highly fragrant and lifted florals, lemon, lime and yeasty thiols. The palate is clean, fresh and tight, with citrus blossom, wet stones plus a texture like citrus pith that adds structure and interest to the long minerally finish. Good now, will improve further. Drink by 2027.
