2018 Terre a' Terre Heysen Vineyard Pinot Noir

Includes 15% whole bunch fermentation with aging taking place in French oak of which 40% was new. Semi translucent dark red colour with subtle tinges of black to the edges and a dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of violets, spicy dark cherries and strawberries intermix with hints of anise, lightly smoked cedar and dried herbs, the palate has elegant flavours of spicy dark cherries, earthy clove, smoky cedar and dried herbs. Slightly dryish finish with polished tannins and a modestly powered aftertaste.
