2018 Tallarook Chardonnay

Partially fermented in oak with a portion in tank for freshness and matured on lees for 9 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a tinge of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. Emerging from the glass are nectarine, peach and apricot aromas with a light honeycomb overlay followed by bacon fat, nougat and spice. Medium bodied, there’s good richness to the peach, nectarine and honeycomb fruit. Citrusy nougat, subtle bacon fat and spice elements are also evident. Finishes with plenty of freshness and a medium length aftertaste. Give it some time to fill out a bit more.
