2018 Spring Vale Melrose Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light crimson red hue. A fragrant bouquet of cherries and strawberries gently laced with violets and fresh herbs are followed by some light forest floor notes. Light in body the palate has a savoury edge to it with flavours of cherries and strawberries infused with fresh herbs, some meatiness and spicy forest floor characters. Finishes with good freshness, finely grained supple tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
