2018 Santolin Gladysdale Chardonnay

Matured in 100% French oak, 30% of which was new, for 10 months on lees. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Elevated ripe white peach and dried honey scents overlay citrusy nougat characters, light cashew and spice. Rich and textured the palate is intensely flavoured with ripe peaches, dried honey and citrusy nougat characters over a back drop of subtle cashew and spice. Clean dry finish with balanced acidity and a long fleshy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
