2018 Rutherglen Estates Shelley's Block Marsanne Viognier Roussanne

A great value Rhone styled blend fermented using a mix of tank fermentation and French oak barrels. Following fermentation, the wine was then aged on lees for 7 months. Brilliant very pale straw coloured base with a vibrant greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced ripe peach and apricot aromas intermix with honeycomb, nougat and spice. Lush and round with a creamy mouthfeel, fresh ripe peach and apricot fruits show excellent intensity over a back drop of honeycomb, citrusy nougat characters and spice. Finishes dry and fresh with a long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
