Cellar: Drink now - 4 Years (2020-2024)

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a distinct tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarines, pears and traces of grapefruit intermingle with hints of honeydew, melon and spice. The palate has a well rounded textural feel with flavours of pears and nectarine overlaying honeydew, ripe melon, subtle biscuity oak and spice nuances. Finishes dry and fresh with a long elegant aftertaste that sees some funky gun flint elements emerge.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
A tight acid line drives this persuasively and along for the ride lemon-lime, white stone fruit, florals a distinct lavender note plus its fair share of toasty sweet oak. Linear and lithe, it finishes long with a savoury end. Drink by 2027.

Yarra Valley chardonnay. 350 dozen made. Grown on three blocks at a single vineyard site. Fermented wild in about 25% new oak. Most went through malo.
Both complex and textural. Pure and free-flowing but taut as well. Crushed fennel, florals, lactose and nectarine, with struck match notes as highlights. Joyous chardonnay. Lovely. Drink 2020-2025.
