2018 Redbank Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Dense black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice are overlaid by peppered earth characters followed by some meaty leather like notes. Medium bodied the fruit is masked by prominent vanillin oak and clove characters with some earth and spice also apparent. Velvety tannins with a smooth medium length finish that has lingering vanillin oak and dried clove elements to it.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
