2018 Ravensworth Hilltops Nebbiolo

Dark red colour with tinges of black to the edges and a shade lighter red hue. Perfumed like rose petal scents intermix with red cherry, hints of red liquorice, earth, spicy tobacco and dried herb notes. Juicy ripe cherry, raspberry and red liquorice fruits are backed by a sturdy but not overly firm tannin structure. Dried herbs, subtle tobacco and light spicy earth nuances also chime in. Lively acidity with a long savoury aftertaste that’s quite seductive. A fine example of Australian Nebbiolo.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
