2018 Place of Changing Winds Heathcote Syrah No. 2

Deep dark red black colour with a bright red hue. A bouquet of plum, liquorice and dried clove scents are trailed by smoky cedar, dried meat and peppered herb notes. Medium weighted, refined and elegant, the palate is decorated with rich dark plum and liquorice fruit which has a subtle dried clove overlay. Meaty characters, dried herb infusions and pepper ensue. Supple feel with smooth, well integrated tannins and a savoury conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
