2018 Pittnauer Blaufrankisch Heideboden

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Spicy morello cherry and red liquorice scents intermingle with herby fresh tobacco like notes, stalk and olive. Light in body, sour cherry fruits are interwoven with stalky herb like characters, subtle tea leaf and spice. Finishes dry and elegant with bright, verging on tart like acidity, fine grained tannins and a stalky herb like aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
