Bottle
$563.88 Dozen
Cellar: Drink now - 8 Years (2020-2028)
ABV: 12%

Brilliant water like core with distinct highlights of green around the outskirts. Intense lime and green apple aromatics are complexed by emerging oily kerosene like notes with citrus, light toast and spice also evident. Concentrated lime and citrus flavours have a steely underbelly with orange rind, subtle toast and traces oily kersosene characters then moving in. Crunchy acidity. Excellent drive with a long finish that builds textural momentum as it sails on.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 12%

Other Reviews….
Sourced entirely from Pikes' Polish Hill River vineyard. It may well be, as Neil Pike says, made for the 8 to 10-year long haul, but I'd be very happy to have a glass tonight. It's beautifully balanced and spacious - not a word that I use often - thus allowing the complexity and texture to build with grace. Drink by 2033.

I think we have here, a Merle that drinks very well from the get-go.
It’s so irresistibly limey and juicy, you can’t help but love it straight away. Aside that, intensity, fine chalky feel, and superb length. It grabs the ball, runs flat out, and finishes with a flourish. Great now, but no hurry. You get the picture, I hope, without so many words.
