2018 Peerick Sauvignon Blanc Fume

Brilliant water like colour with the faintest tinge of green around the outskirts. Aromas of ripe gooseberries, passionfruit and lime are overlaid by subtle herbaceous grassy notes with a light smoky edge also evident. The vibrant palate sees passionfruit, ripe gooseberry and lime flavours subtlety infused with smoky barrel ferment characters and gun flint. Dry crisp finish with some herbaceous grassy characters more apparent on the lightly smoked aftertaste.
