2018 Pachamama Shiraz

Inky black heart with a deep bright dark red black tinged hue. Bounding out of the glass are ripe blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromatics which are closely followed by hints of fennel, vanillin cedar, a whiff of earthy dark chocolate and pepper. Full bodied, the palate has a rich sumptuous flavour profile of liquorice, blackberries and luscious black cherries over lightly toasted vanillin cedar, fennel, earth and black pepper. Fleshy mouthfeel with perfectly integrated polished tannins, sturdy enough to provide an excellent framework. Finishes long, richly fruited and laced with pepper. The best Pachamama yet.
