2018 Occam's Razor Heathcote Shiraz

Midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Evolving from the glass with good intensity are blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas followed by some fennel, vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied, rich and plush, the palate is flooded with blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruit which sits over a back drop of subtly scorched vanillin oak, traces of fennel, earth and blackpepper. Velvety yet structured tannins. Excellent depth with a long deeply fruited aftertaste that finishes with a dash of blackpepper.
