2018 Merricks Thompson's Lane Pinot Noir

Semi translucent cherry red colour with a light red hue. Hints of violets intermingle with dark cherry, winter strawberry and anise notes. Earthy forest floor, a subtle meatiness and spice are also apparent. Delicious ripe red cherry and strawberry fruits have a silky feel as they glide across the palate, underscored by notions of anise, spicy oak, forest floor and dried herbs. Velvet smooth tannins concluding with a savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
