2018 Marco Abella Olbieta Negre

Deep dark red black core with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries, black raspberries and liquorice intermix with scorched earth, dried herbs and spice to show good intensity out of the glass. Juicy black raspberry and black cherry fruits have a vibrant feel over shadowing a back ground of liquorice, scorched earth and a bed of spicy dried herbs. Finishes dry with plenty of freshness and ripe, slightly chewy tannins. Concludes rich and earthy with a touch of spicy leather also emerging.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
