2018 Marchand & Burch Morgon Cru du Beaujolais

Good depth displaying a bright dark red purple colour with a vibrant purple red hue. Perfumed like violet scents mesh with freshly crushed ripe cherries, infusions of incense, earth and spicy clove. Light to medium weight the palate features youthful but expressive dark cherry fruit over earthy incense like infusions, fresh herbs and spice. Quite juicy finishing with good freshness, inky slightly dryish tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
